Sydney Women’s Vocal Orchestra - National Folk Festival 2024

The Sydney Women’s Vocal Orchestra was formed in 2002 to sing the music published as “Song of Survival”, written or arranged by Margaret Dryburgh and Norah Chambers in Palembang POW camp. We sing this music to keep the story and spirit of these extraordinary women alive. The following slide-show accompanies the presentation we will make at the National Folk Festival 2024. Our presentation usually includes songs, stories and projections. Unfortunately projections are not possible, so we invite you to have look at these instead.
